The Pas Regional Library is seeking candidates for the position of:
The Administrator is responsible for the direction, coordination, long-range planning, and administration of The Pas Regional Library and its programs, including the library branch of The Pas Correctional Centre, in addition to marketing, policies, staffing and budgets.
A post-secondary degree in Business, Library Science, or equivalent experience
The successful candidate should possess
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail
Experience with budgeting and financial accounting (Quickbooks)
Knowledge of the Library system and its operations
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Creativity in developing and implementing programming
Ability to create and deliver presentations to government and public stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft programs and internet research skills
Hours are typically Monday to Friday, 9:45 am to 6:15 pm (37.5 hrs/week)
