The Pas Regional Library is seeking candidates for the position of:

Library Administrator

 

The Administrator is responsible for the direction, coordination, long-range planning, and administration of The Pas Regional Library and its programs, including the library branch of The Pas Correctional Centre, in addition to marketing, policies, staffing and budgets. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
 

A post-secondary degree in Business, Library Science, or equivalent experience

 

The successful candidate should possess

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Experience with budgeting and financial accounting (Quickbooks)

  • Knowledge of the Library system and its operations

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • Creativity in developing and implementing programming

  • Ability to create and deliver presentations to government and public stakeholders

  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs and internet research skills

  • Management experience

  • Hours are typically Monday to Friday, 9:45 am to 6:15 pm (37.5 hrs/week)
